Edisto Beach State Park Edisto Beach State Park is a 1,000-acre park that includes the longest stretch of undeveloped beach in South Carolina. The park offers opportunities for swimming, hiking, and wildlife viewing. The beach at Edisto Beach is wide and sandy, with gentle surf and shallow water that makes it perfect for families with children or pets. The park has two boat ramps for launching small boats, but there are no docks or piers in the public beach area. The park has two campgrounds with a total of 102 campsites. The campsites include water, electricity, and bathhouses with hot showers. There are also three group camping areas available by reservation only.
