Maximize Your Adventures: The 2024 Ford Expedition MAX

The 2024 Ford Expedition MAX is a version of the Expedition with a longer wheelbase and, therefore, more interior space. It’s perfect for a family that needs all the cargo space they can get. There are many other wonderful features that make the car a must-have for your adventures, too.

A Huge Amount of Space for Cargo

When it comes to cargo space, the MAX really shines. If you fold the second and third rows down flat, then you’ve got a whopping 121.5 cubic feet to fill thanks to the vehicle’s long wheelbase. Folding down just the third row gets you either 73.3 or 79.6 cubic feet of cargo space depending on the position of the second row seats. You can achieve the larger cargo capacity by pushing the second row all the way forward.

The regular cargo space holds 34.3 or 36 cubic feet worth of luggage depending on whether the third-row seats are reclined or not. It’s very easy to fold the third row down, as it has a power recline and PowerFold function. Power Folding Tip and Slide seats are also available for the second row.

A Cabin Full of Technology

The SYNC 4 infotainment system in the MAX is 12 inches in size and packed full of really useful features. It comes with one year of Connected Navigation, but you can also upgrade to a three-year Connected Navigation plan. It’s Wi-Fi-capable, and there are charging ports in the first and second rows, letting passengers keep their devices charged while connected to the Wi-Fi. You can also opt to add third-row charging ports and a wireless charging pad.

SiriusXM Radio with 360L is standard on the infotainment screen, and you can also connect your smartphone to the screen and stream audio from a smartphone-based streaming app. A Rear Entertainment System with Amazon Fire TV is also available.

A Strong Towing Ability

If your adventures involve towing, then the expedition MAX is a great fit for your family. Both the 2×4 and 4×4 versions of the MAX can tow up to 9,000 pounds. Having such a high towing capacity makes it a very versatile SUV. It’s strong enough to tow objects of a similar weight to a large travel trailer.
